BIRD PHOTOGRAPHY
A Short Personal Story:
Birds are why I take photos. They always have been.
When I got my first camera, the Canon Powershot 360 (Purple), I thought it was a miracle how close this little thing could get to the birds I loved.
I used it to take my first “good” bird photo of three trumpeter swans basking in the golden-hour glow at the Union Bay Natural Area at the University of Washington.
Now, Photography has become enough of an income stream to where I have all my own professional gear, mainly the Canon R7 and the Sigma 150-600mm.
I went looking for birds for the first time with my new camera. The first “good” picture I can claim to take with it, was of three trumpeter swans, taking flight in the golden-hour glow at the Union Bay Natural Area at the University of Washington.
